Replacing brake pedal: Notes

  1. Separate brake pedal from brake booster.
    1. 1.1. Press brake pedal towards the brake booster.
    2. 1.2. Release tool T40136  must be fitted on the ball joint on the push rod.
    3. 1.3. To press the retaining lugs on the mounting off the ball joint on the push rod, pull release tool T40136  towards the driver's seat and counter at the brake pedal at the same time (the brake pedal must not move towards the driver's seat).
    4. 1.4. Release tool T40136  and brake pedal must both be pulled towards the driver's seat.
  2. Remove pedal bearing shaft.

    1. 2.1. Pull off lock -1-  .
    2. 2.2. Pull pedal bearing shaft out to the left.
  3. Remove the brake pedal by pulling it downwards.
