Removing rear-view mirror housing (upper part)

Information

The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
Some steps must be carried out automatically.
Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

Remove screws -1- .
Move upper part of housing -2- in the lower, front area forward and up at the same time and unclip at the lower part of the housing.
Unclip lower part of housing from brackets -3- on the direction indicator light.
Guide upper part of housing -2- out of the brackets -4- and lift it up until the electric plug connections are accessible.
