Long Sleeve Nitrile Gloves for Fuel Systems Work

Information: In order to minimize skin contact with fuel while servicing fuel systems components, the use of long sleeve fuel resistant Acrylonitrile Butadiene (Nitrile) coated rubber gloves is recommended along with safety goggles. The 26 inch long gloves will not deteriorate in contact with or immersed in fuel. The flexibility of these gloves helps reduce the hand fatigue associated with typical coated gloves. The gloves have a 100% cotton liner for comfort. Additionally, the special coating treatment to the palm area provides excellent wet and dry grip.
NOTE:
Under no circumstances should ordinary latex rubber or thin plastic gloves be used within the fuel tanks of Porsche vehicles. Several fuel system issues have recently been traced to blockage caused by pieces of latex and thin plastic gloves that have come apart.
