Removing double clutch

  1. Position transmission so that it is vertical on the mounting bracket.
  2. Unscrew fastening screws -1 - 5-  .

  3. Fit sleeve and puller from the tool set Puller for ATF supply T40123B  on the drive shaft.
    1. 3.1. Slide the sleeve onto the drive shaft.
    2. 3.2. Fit puller.
    3. 3.3. The edge of the puller must be attached under  the sleeve.
    4. 3.4. Close the puller and tighten knurled nut -1-  .
    5. 3.5. Check that the puller is fitted securely on the drive shaft.

  4. Puller for ATF supply T40123A  must be engaged using hooks 10-222A/2  on the workshop crane WE 1188  .

  5. Pull the double clutch out of the transmission housing.
    1. 5.1. Set double clutch and cover down on a soft surface.
    2. 5.2. Do not damage the bar -A-  .

  6. Remove clutch cover.
    1. 6.1. Remove circlip.
    2. 6.2. Pull off clutch cover.
