Removing left halfshaft flange

Information

Check the shaft sealing ring on the differential for damage.
Replace the shaft sealing ring if damaged.

Tilt the transmission on the gear support backwards slightly so that the transmission oil does not leak out.
Unscrew the fastening screws.

Remove the halfshaft flange -2- slowly and carefully in -direction of arrow A- from the transmission.

Remove the flywheel. → 136019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FLYWHEEL
Clean the halfshaft flange and place it on a clean surface.
Clean the connection area to the differential -arrow A- and the shaft sealing ring -arrow B- on the transmission housing.
