Removing sealing ring for front output shaft

Information

When the transmission is disassembled, the sealing ring on the transmission side can be removed using a screwdriver.

Make a small hole at a non-rubberised area of the outer sealing ring using a drift punch.

Information
- Risk of damage to the bearing cage of the ball bearing behind the sealing ring. Do not press drift punch and tapping screw in too far.
Screw a tapping screw with a large head into the hole.

Remove sealing ring.

3.1. Screw in tapping screw using puller set WE 1689 -1- and remove outer sealing ring.
