Installing line for ATF cooling

Information

Before re-installing the ATF lines, check the O-rings on the lines for damage and replace them if necessary. Coat O-rings on ATF lines with ATF.

Close off all lines and connections using suitable stoppers during removal.

Do not open the stoppers for the lines and connections until shortly before installation.

Replace sealing rings on the ATF lines.

Install ATF lines -3- .

2.1. Position ATF lines.
2.2. Guide ATF lines into the ATF spin-on filter housing.
2.3. Fit and tighten fastening screw -1- . Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ft. lb.)

2.4. Fit and tighten fastening screw -2, 4 and 5- .

Install heat shield -2- .

3.1. Position heat shield -2- .

3.2. Fit and tighten fastening screws -1- .
