Removing ATF pump

In the description below, the individual pumps with the part identifier 3856 ATF pump
are differentiated by the terms oil pump
and sucking jet pump
.
- Wrap adhesive tape around the splines of the outer drive shaft so that the inner sealing face of the sucking jet pump is not damaged during removal and installation.
- 1.1. Coat affixed adhesive tape with grease.

- Unscrew screws and slide the oil pump on the drive shaft forward.

- Remove ATF pump.
- 3.1. Unscrew the screws for the sucking jet pump at the back of the oil pump.
- 3.2. Pull oil pump and sucking jet pump off the drive shaft separately.
