Installing drive shaft bearing

Information 

• Use new thrust washer and circlip.

1. Fit new thrust washer -2-  .

   WARNING: Mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic press

   • Risk of squashing

   → Read specific safety information for the press.

   → Check that the press is working perfectly before use, particularly the safety components.

2. Press in new bearing using Pressure plate VW 511  .
   1. 2.1. Press in bearing as far as it will go.

   Information 

   • Use new thrust washer and circlip.
3. Fit new circlip.
   1. 3.1. Clean sealing surfaces.
