Assembling front spring strut

If the coil spring is replaced: Always replace coil springs in pairs only!
Information
During installation, make sure that the ends of the spring are touching the limit stops of the spring plate in the spring-strut mount (PASM)/mounting saddle (conventional) and in the lower concave support (permissible gap dimension: 2 mm).
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
Observe specified tightening torques:
Mounting saddle to piston rod (conventional): Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.)
Spring-strut mount to piston rod (PASM): Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.)
