Installing front anti-roll bar

WARNING:
Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
- Risk of crushing
- Risk of damage to components
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
Information
- All screws and threaded joints on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle standing on its wheels or the wheel suspension is raised with a universal vehicle lift. Dimension -1- , from lower edge of wing to center of axle corresponds to vehicle position. The current height values can be found in

Pay particular attention to the following points!
- Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased .
Installation is performed in reverse order to removal. Pay particular attention to the following:
- Position anti-roll bar in installation position.
For Macan Basis and Macan Diesel: Make sure that the gap in the rubber mounting in the right bracket is touching the contact surface of the clip.
For Macan S and Macan Turbo: The rubber mounting is in two parts with a special precisely fitted clip. The gap in the rubber mounting must be parallel to the contact surface of the clip.
- Tighten fastening nuts -1-
on the anti-roll bar clamps -3-
on both sides of the vehicle. Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ft. lb.)
- Tighten fastening screw -2- on both sides of the vehicle. Initial tightening 40 Nm (30 ft. lb.) Final tightening +90°
