Securing engine to engine crane

When removing the new engine from the transport frame, it may be necessary to raise the transport frame at the side (flat jack or similar). → Workshop crane and transport frame
When removing the new engine from the transport frame, it may be necessary to safeguard the engine against lateral movement using a second worker and against scratching by covering it with a blanket.

Remove design cover on engine if necessary.
Engage one hook of the lifting tackle 3033 in the rear transport eyebolt on the engine. Engage the other hook of the lifting tackle at the front of the engine. Raise the workshop crane slightly and tension the spindles slightly. The lifting tackle must be adjusted evenly.
