Installing catalytic converter

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical.

1. Install catalytic converter.
   1. 1.1. Fit new seals on the turbocharger.
   2. 1.2. Fit catalytic converter on the turbocharger.
   3. 1.3. Fit screw on holder at the top.
   4. 1.4. Fit and tighten V-band clamp.

      Check direction of screw.

   5. 1.5. Fit screw on spring/tab assembly and tighten to Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ft lb.)  .
   6. 1.6. Tighten screw on V-band clamp Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ft lb.)  .
   7. 1.7. Tighten screw on holder at the top to Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ft lb.)  .
2. Secure exhaust pipe/front silencer to the catalytic converter.
   1. 2.1. Replace seal and nuts.
   2. 2.2. Tightening torque for nuts: Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ft lb.)
