Subsequent work

  1. Install upper part of center console cover. → 681919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING UPPER PART OF CENTRE CONSOLE COVER
  2. Install switch console. → 962719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SWITCH CONSOLE
  3. Install center console trim. → 681419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE TRIM
  4. Move selector lever to position "P".
  5. Install exhaust system. → 260119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXHAUST SYSTEM

    After replacing the selector support: 

  6. Calibrate selector support using PIWIS Tester II 9818  .
    1. 6.1. Overview -> PDK -> Maintenance/repairs -> Calibration -> [F12]
    2. 6.2. Calibration after replacing  selector lever control unit -> [F12]
    3. 6.3. Follow the instructions on PIWIS Tester II 9818  . [F12]
    4. 6.4. Start the calibration process by pressing [F12].
    5. 6.5. Erase the fault memory.
