Removing wire harness for ParkAssist

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Disconnect electric plug connections -1-  at the reversing lights -2-  .
   1. 1.1. Cut tie-wrap -3-  .
   2. 1.2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection.

   Vehicles with reversing camera 

2. Disconnect electric plug connections -1-  for the reversing camera.
   1. 2.1. Remove wire harness for ParkAssist -2-  from holder -3-  .
   2. 2.2. Cut tie-wrap -4-  .
   3. 2.3. Release and disconnect electric plug connections.

   All vehicles 

3. Remove wire harness for ParkAssist -1-  from holders -2-  .
4. Release electric plug connections -3-  at the number plate lights and pull them off.

5. Disconnect electric plug connections at the ParkAssist sensors -1-  .
   1. 5.1. Disengage locking mechanism for electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 5.2. Press locking mechanism -3-  and disconnect electric plug connection from the ParkAssist sensor.

6. Pull all holders -1-  for the ParkAssist wire harness -2-  off the rear apron and remove wire harness for ParkAssist.
