Checking mounting parts and fastening points

Check the belt buckle strap for distortion.
Check the function of the height adjuster.
Check fastening points (seat, B-pillar, C-pillar, vehicle floor) for distortion or thread damage.

If the parts are damaged, the entire seat belt and seat-belt buckle must be replaced.

Replace damaged or distorted fastening points.
