Installing rear three-point belt at the left and right

Information

Replace fastening screws with new fastening screws before installation .
Self-locking nuts and screws must always be replaced before installation .

Hook seat-belt pretensioner -1- into the bodyshell -2- and secure with the fastening screw -3- (Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft lb.) ).

Guide seat belt over the belt deflector and secure seat belt mount -1- to the body -2- (Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft lb.) ).
Information

Observe correct installation position for seat belt mount:
- Do not install belt twisted .
- Twist lock must engage fully in the recess in the bodyshell before being screwed in .
- Belt must be facing the center of the vehicle .

Connect electric plug connection -1- to the seat-belt pretensioner -2- .
Information

Electric lines must not be routed in the belt roll-up and belt strap area.
