Installing padding for front seat

Fit seat cover with padding on the seat frame.
Clip securing wire into the seat pan using the 4 red clips.
On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Engage seat extension straps at both sides.
1. 3.1. Lift up padding for rear seat.
2. 3.2. Guide seat-surface extension strap -2- through from top to bottom - A- and slide it onto the bar - B- .
3. 3.3. Slide the bar -1- through the seat-surface extension strap -2- and the tab on the cover -3- .
Pull the cover back between the padding for the seat and backrest - C- .
Engage cover at the rear - D- .
Engage cover at the rear - E- .
Engage cover at the sides - F- .
Fit expansion rivet -4- .
Information

Fixing clips on the seat frame will be damaged irreparably during removal. Replace expansion rivets and fixing clips during installation and do not re-use them.
Engage cover at the front - G- .
On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Engage cover on the seat-surface extension - H- .
Engage cover at the sides - I- .
Engage the bracket -6- from below - J- .
Tighten fastening screws -5- (Tightening torque 7.5 Nm (5.5 ft lb.) +/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.3 ft lb.) ).
Fit fixing clip -7- .
Information

Fixing clips on the seat frame will be damaged irreparably during removal. Replace expansion rivets and fixing clips during installation and do not re-use them.
Attach cover at the rear -8- (- K- ).
On vehicles with heated seats: Plug in connector for seat heating.
1. 16.1. Plug in electric plug connection for seat heating -1- (- A- ) until the connector engages securely.
2. 16.2. Plug in electric plug connection for seat heating for seat-surface extension -2- (- B- ) until the connector engages securely.
Plug in electric plug connection for seat detection (Bodysense) until the connector engages securely.
