Removing oddments tray

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment  .
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant  .
• Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .

1. Press seal -1-  to one side and unscrew and remove fastening nuts -2-  .
2. Press seal -1-  to one side and unscrew fastening nuts -3-  .
3. Press selector support down slightly.
4. Unscrew and remove fastening nuts -4-  .
5. Loosen air duct.
   1. 5.1. Lift center console in the rear area.
   2. 5.2. Reach into the center console from behind and loosen locking lug and detach air duct from oddments tray.
6. Lift up oddments tray -1-  in the upper area of lock -2-  and unclip oddments tray -1-  from the center console at the same time.
7. Lift up oddments tray -1-  until the 12 V socket -2-  can be accessed by reaching into the center console from the rear.
8. Reach into the center console and press 12 V socket -2-  in direction of arrow - A -  from the rear so that it comes out of the bracket.
9. Carefully guide out oddments tray -1-  in the front area -B-  and lift it off the center console.
10. Release electric plug connection -1-  at the 12 V socket and disconnect it.
11. Remove USB connection -2-  from the bracket.
12. Remove AUX connection -3-  from the bracket.
13. Unclip fixing clip -4-  at the oddments tray and guide electric line for telephone console out of the oddments tray.
14. Remove oddments tray.
