Removing lock for rear backrest at the center

  1. Loosen clip fastenings -1-  in the lower area of the front trim cover -2-  using a plastic wedge -3-  and remove front trim cover by lifting it up.

  2. Pull cover for backrest lock -1-  off the load-through provision -2-   .

  3. Loosen cover piping in the top and side area (-marking-)  .

  4. Remove upper trim panel on load-through provision.
    1. 4.1. Unscrew two fastening screws -1-  .

    2. 4.2. Fold down cover.
    3. 4.3. Loosen two fastening screws -2-  and fold upper trim panel upwards.
    4. 4.4. Disengage operating cable for lock for rear backrest at the center.
      1. 4.4.1. Disengage operating cable at the seat belt mount.

      2. 4.4.2. Disengage operating cable at the fixing clips -1 and 2-  .
  5. Loosen fastening screws -1-  for backrest lock -2-  and remove backrest lock.
