Preliminary work

  1. Remove side cover for backrest and disengage rear cover for backrest at the underside of the seat. → 722619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR BACKREST - "REMOVING" 
  2. Remove side trim panel for front seat, without storage tray. → 721619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL PANEL TRIM - "REMOVING "
  3. Disconnect pressure line (red) under the seat. → 723819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL VALVE FOR AIR CUSHION - "REMOVING" 
  4. Disconnect wire harness for side airbag at the underside of the seat. → 696319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SIDE AIRBAG - "REMOVING "
  5. On vehicles with heated seats: Unplug electric plug connection for seat heating for backrest and disconnect wire harness. → 741719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PADDING FOR FRONT BACKREST
