Removing front side-section trim panel

Information

The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
Some steps must be carried out automatically.
Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

Reach into the lower area and unclip locking lug -5- on door sill trim -4- .
Unclip trim panel -3- at the body and guide it out at the rubber door seal -2- .
Pull trim panel -3- down off the tab on the A-pillar trim panel -1- and remove it.
