Installing dashboard

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Porsche Macan and 2015 Porsche Macan. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

Engage tabs -1- for the dashboard -2- in brackets -3- on the body.
Check that the dashboard is fitted correctly at the contact surfaces.
The electric lines must be routed correctly and must not be kinked or trapped.

Tighten top fastening screws securing the dashboard to the bracket to the specified torque. Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ft lb.)
Tighten bottom fastening screws securing the dashboard to the bracket to the specified torque. Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ft lb.)
Tighten fastening screw securing airbag bracket to dashboard bracket to the specified torque. Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3 ft lb.)
Tighten fastening screws securing passenger's airbag to dashboard to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ft lb.)
Tighten fastening screws securing lower air guide to bracket to the specified torque. Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ft lb.)
Tighten fastening screws securing upper air guide to bracket to the specified torque. Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ft lb.)
