Removing side trim panel for rear luggage compartment: Notes

Only carry out Step 2 when removing the right side trim panel and on vehicles with a trailer hitch:
- Release electric plug connection at the trailer hitch switch and disconnect it. → 666219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SWITCH FOR TRAILER HITCH
- Guide out inner part -1- at the side trim panel -2- and remove it.
- Fold the relevant rear seat forward.
- Unclip side trim panel -2- at the body and fold it aside.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection at the luggage compartment lamp.

Only carry out Step 7 when removing the left side trim panel .
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection at the 12 V plug socket -3- .
- Guide side trim panel -2-
up and remove it.
