Removing front trim panel

Information

The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
Some steps must be carried out automatically.
Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

Pull expansion rivets -3- out of the front and rear section.
Unclip front section at the front.
Guide front section out of the tabs -2- and remove it.
Unscrew fastening screw -1- , then guide tab on the rear section out of the lock support cover and remove trim panel.
