Removing dashboard inset

- Move steering column to its lowest, rearmost position.
- Unclip bottom of dashboard inset -1-
at the left, right and in the middle from the dashboard using a plastic wedge -2-
.
- Unscrew fastening screws -1-
and remove plastic insulating plates -2-
between dashboard inset -3-
and dashboard.
- Loosen dashboard inset at top and detach it from the dashboard.
- 4.1. Carefully push a plastic squeegee -1- in between the top of the dashboard inset -2- and dashboard and loosen top of dashboard inset in area -a- .
- Remove dashboard inset at the top -1- .
- 5.1. Position a plastic squeegee -2- and plastic wedge -3- close to the fastening pins -a- between the top of the dashboard inset and the dashboard.
- 5.2. Disengage fastening pins -a- at the left and right by pulling them horizontally to the rear.
- 5.3. Remove dashboard inset at the top.
