Removing control unit for rear lid

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
Information
Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work .
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation .
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts .
- Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
- Release clip -a- (-1- ), swivel it aside -b- and remove electric plug connection from rear lid control unit -2- .
- Release electric plug connections -3-

) and disconnect them from the rear lid control unit.
Disconnecting electric plug connections
- Release control unit for rear lid -1-

) and slide it to the left out of the guides on the rear lid -b-
