Removing rear lid release

  1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection
  2. Remove rear lid release.

    Removing release switch 

    1. 2.1. At the outer edge of the release switch, insert a plastic wedge no deeper than 2.5 mm  between the release switch -1-  and rear window -2-  as shown -arrow A-  .
    2. 2.2. Push the plastic wedge straight down and unclip the release switch from the retainer plate -arrow B-  .

Do not use force on the retainer plate.
