Securing lid (service position)

Information
- Make sure that the bonnet stay is engaged correctly .
- Check that the bonnet stay is seated correctly .
- When carrying out service work on the vehicle, the special tool bonnet stay 9873 can be used in addition to the standard pneumatic spring.
- Position bonnet stay.
- Once service work is complete, install pneumatic spring → 553119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT PNEUMATIC SPRING - SECTION ON "INSTALLING"
