Removing A-Pillar

Installation position of A-pillar 

1. Remove wing bracket.

   Information:  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

   1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds -A-  using spotweld drill 
   2. 1.2. Grind down welded seams -arrows-  .

      Removing wing bracket 

   Information:  Mark cuts X & Y  in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

   Information:  Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

2. Mark and make cuts. Distance: 70 mm → Distance: 65 mm

3. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill

4. Remove A-pillar.
5. Remove remaining piece of wing attachment strip.

   Information:  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

   1. 5.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill
