Subsequent Work

- Remove B-pillar reinforcement. Refer to 514255 REPLACING B-PILLAR REINFORCEMENT .
- Remove A-pillar. Refer to 511255 REPLACING A-PILLAR .
- Remove roof pillar. Refer to WM 510555 REPLACING ROOF PILLAR (OUTER PANEL) .
- Release and remove vehicle from the straightening system.
- Clean joint areas and sheetmetal flanges with a wire brush.
- Prime joint areas and sheetmetal flanges with 2K primer.
- Restore standard seal with body sealant. Refer to WM 5X00IN SEAM SEALS
.
Also seal the repair area carefully.
- Paint repair area and adjacent surfaces, if necessary.
- Restore standard underbody protection with underbody sealant. Refer to WM 5X00IN UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Apply standard cavity preservation. Refer to WM 5X00IN CAVITY PRESERVATION . Also carefully apply cavity preservation to the repair area.
- Install removed accessories in the repair area.
