Removing C-Pillar Reinforcement

Installation position of C-pillar reinforcement

Remove C-pillar reinforcement.
Information: Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.
1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill .

Removing C-pillar reinforcement
Remove side panel section -1- .
Information: Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
1. 2.1. Mark and make cuts. Distance: 100 mm

  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

Heat bonding areas.

3.1. Remove side panel -1- section.

Information: Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Information: Mark cut Y in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

Mark and make cuts. Distance: 90 mm
Information: Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.
1. 4.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill .
