Removing Upper Part Of Lock Carrier

- Unclip lid lock cable from the bracket and disengage it. Refer to 551419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CABLE FOR FRONT LID LOCK .
- Unscrew fastening screws -1- on the lock carrier and body.
- Unscrew fastening screws -2- on the transverse strut.
- Unscrew fastening screws -3-
on cooling-air flaps.
Mounting for upper part of lock carrier - Actuate release -arrow- and pull out fastening plug -1- (-arrow-) .
- Unclip wire harness -3-
on upper part of lock carrier -2-

Fastening plug, wire harness on upper part of lock carrier - Push upper part of lock carrier forward, guide the guide out of the radiator and remove it.
