Installing Upper Part Of Lock Carrier

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following: 

  1. Tighten fastening screws securing upper part of lock carrier to body to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  2. Tighten fastening screws securing upper part of lock carrier to lock carrier to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  3. Tighten fastening screws securing upper part of lock carrier to transverse strut to the specified torque. Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  4. Tighten fastening screws securing upper part of lock carrier to cooling-air flaps to the specified torque. Tightening torque 2.5 Nm (2 ftlb.)
