Replacing Rear Transverse Lock Support

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill; see Gr. 2.4; Workshop Equipment Manual Nr.129  .

2. Make a sufficient gap between the corner plates at the left and right and the transverse lock support.

3. Heat the marked bonding surfaces.
   1. 3.1. Pull closing panel to the rear in the lower area -arrows A-  and then remove it by pulling it upwards -arrows a-  .
