Removing Upper Front Roof Frame

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. Roughly cut out upper and lower part of roof frame.

2. Drill through spotwelds using a spotweld drill;  .

   Information 

   Drill out spotwelds A  through two plate thicknesses.

   1. 2.1. Drill through spotwelds in area -A-  using a spotweld drill;  .
   2. 2.2. Heat bonding areas.
   3. 2.3. Remove remaining pieces -1-  of top half of roof frame.

3. Drill through spotwelds using a spotweld drill;
   1. 3.1. Remove remaining pieces of bottom half of roof frame -2-  .
