Removing rear right backrest

NOTE:
  • The illustrations show the other side as an example  .
  • The removal and installation procedure for this side is practically identical  .
  1. Fold load-through provision and rear right backrest forward.
  2. Unscrew and remove fastening screw -1-  for right supporting bow -2-. 

    Remove supporting bow by moving it upwards -arrow A-  and unhooking it and pulling it forward out of the cross bolt -arrow B-.

  3. Lift rear right backrest -1-  out of the center mount -2-  and remove it -arrow A-  .

  4. Pull rear right backrest -1-  towards the center of the vehicle and remove it from the mount on the body -3-  (-arrow B-  ).
  5. Only for vehicles with heated seats:  Disconnect electric plug connection between the rear seat and backrest.
