Removing Backrest Frame

  1. Release two electric plug connections under the seat -arrows a-and disconnect them -arrows A-  .

    Disconnecting wire harness for backrest 

  2. Pull out fixing clip -1-  and detach cover for rear seat surface -2- (-arrow A-  ).

    Loosening cover for rear seat 

  3. Unscrew fastening screws -3-  , pull bracket -4-  down -arrow B-  out of the catches and detach cover on seat frame.

    Loosening bracket at the sides 

    A second mechanic is required: 

  4. First mechanic:  Unscrew two fastening screws -1-  from the backrest frame on both sides.

    Removing backrest frame 

  5. Second mechanic:  Pull electric lines through between the seat frame and seat padding.
