Installing Backrest Frame

A second mechanic is required: 

1. First mechanic:  Fit backrest frame.
   1. 1.1. Fit backrest frame on seat frame.
   2. 1.2. Pull electric line through between the seat frame and seat padding.
2. Second mechanic:  Tighten two fastening screws -1  - for the backrest frame on both sides Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.) +/-3 Nm (+1-2 ftlb.)  .

   Removing backrest frame 

3. Engage the bracket -6-  from below -arrow J-  .

   Securing bracket at the sides 

4. Tighten fastening screws -5- (Tightening torque 7.5 Nm (5.5 ftlb.) +/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)  ).
5. Fit fixing clip -7-.

   Securing cover at the back 

6. Engage rear side cover -8-  on the seat frame -arrow K-  .
7. Plug in two electric plug connections on the underside of the seat -arrows A-  until the connector engages securely.
