Removing Antenna Control Unit

NOTE:

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

  • Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
  • Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
  • Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 
  1. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
  2. Pull antenna connector -1-  off the antenna control unit -2-  .

    Information 

    NOTE: The number of plug connections can vary, depending on equipment.
  3. Pull locking mechanisms on the antenna connectors -3-  out slightly, press them -a-  and pull antenna lines off the antenna control unit.
  4. Release antenna connectors -4-  (-b-  ) and pull them off the antenna control unit.
  5. Unscrew fastening screw -5-  .
  6. Swivel antenna control unit out and pull it to the left and out of the tailgate.
