Removing Antenna Control Unit
NOTE:
Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation.
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.
- Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
- Pull antenna connector -1-
off the antenna control unit -2-
.
Information
NOTE: The number of plug connections can vary, depending on equipment. - Pull locking mechanisms on the antenna connectors -3- out slightly, press them -a- and pull antenna lines off the antenna control unit.
- Release antenna connectors -4- (-b- ) and pull them off the antenna control unit.
- Unscrew fastening screw -5- .
- Swivel antenna control unit out and pull it to the left and out of the tailgate.
