Removing Front Camera

CAUTION: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to load or to the control unit 

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

NOTE:

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

  • Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work  .
  • Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation  .
  • Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts  .
NOTE: Do not touch the front camera lens!
  1. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
  2. Carefully disengage locks -1-  at the left and right using two plastic wedges -a-  and press front camera -2-  to the rear and out of the holder -b-  .

  3. Release electric plug connection -1-  (-a-  ) and pull it off the front camera -2-  .
