Removing The Starter

Installation position of starter (example)

Remove protection cap -3- from over the electric connections for the starter.

Wing harness for starter
Screw off fastening nuts -1 and 2- on the electric connections at the starter.
Remove electric connections -3 and 4- (-arrow- ).

Loosening fastening nuts on starter
Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1- on the cable duct.

Disconnecting connectors at injectors
Disconnect connectors for injectors -2- on both Cylinder banks -arrow- .
Release connectors on the rear knock sensors on both cylinder banks -a- and disconnect them -arrow- .

Pulling off cable plug
Carefully hold the cable duct to one side.
Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1- on the starter.
