Removing Oil Level Sensor

Oil guide housing with accessories (example for 2WD)

Screw, M6 x 20
Joint flange
Sealing ring
Oil guide housing to lower part of crankcase - aluminum screw;  always use new aluminum screws
Oil level sensor
Oil level sensor to oil guide housing (steel screw)
Timing-case cover to oil guide housing - aluminum screw;  always use new aluminum screws
  1. Pull off electric plug connection -a-  on the oil level sensor. Use the > T10118 - assembly tool  if necessary.

  2. Loosen fastening screws -arrows-  and pull the oil level sensor out of the oil guide housing. Oil will start to drip.

  3. Replace sealing ring for oil level sensor.
