Removing Oil Level Sensor

Oil guide housing with accessories (example for 2WD)

| 4 | Oil guide housing to lower part of crankcase - aluminum screw; always use new aluminum screws |
| 5 | Oil level sensor |
| 6 | Oil level sensor to oil guide housing (steel screw) |
| 7 | Timing-case cover to oil guide housing - aluminum screw; always use new aluminum screws |
- Pull off electric plug connection -a-
on the oil level sensor. Use the > T10118 - assembly tool
if necessary.
Oil level sensor
- Loosen fastening screws -arrows-
and pull the oil level sensor out of the oil guide housing. Oil will start to drip.
Fastening screws
- Replace sealing ring for oil level sensor.
