Step 5 Transfer case fluid level plug washer 1
CAUTION: The fluid filler plug is not a fluid level plug.
NOTE: Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .
  3. CAUTION: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
    NOTE: Remove and discard the sealing washer.

  4. CAUTION: The fluid filler plug is not a fluid level plug.

    Fill the transfer case with the recommended fluid.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .

  5. NOTE: Install a new sealing washer.

    Renew Part: Transfer case fluid level plug washer Quantity: 1  .

    Torque Specification: 35 Nm 

  6. Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .
