WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2016 Porsche Panamera, 2015 Porsche Panamera, 2014 Porsche Panamera, 2013 Porsche Panamera, and 2012 Porsche Panamera. When replacing the coil springs, also replace the concave washers at the top and bottom!

Place the top concave washer together with the top support at the correct position (not twisted). → Fitting top concave washer in top support
At the correct position means both individual components joined together.

Position top support -arrow- precisely (without gaps!) at the coil spring stop. Fit the end of the spring in the opposite direction to the direction of travel.

Fit supporting mount.
1. 3.1. Align the shock absorber (vibration damper) so that the connecting link connection from the anti-roll bar to the spring strut is facing in the opposite direction to the direction of travel.
Align the opposite notches -inset- of the supporting mount parallel to the direction of travel.
1. 4.1. Small notch on the left must always be facing forward and to the left in direction of travel. LEFT spring strut: → Supporting mount alignment, LEFT

2. 4.2. Small notch on the left must always be facing forward and to the left in direction of travel. RIGHT spring strut: → Supporting mount alignment, RIGHT

Screw on lock nut on the piston rod.
1. 5.1. Remove remaining wax from the piston rod thread.
2. 5.2. Screw the lock nut onto the piston rod until approx. 1 to 2 threads are visible above the lock nut.
3. 5.3. Secure lock nut to Tightening torque 53 Nm (39 ftlb.) .
Carefully spray the piston rod and lock nut on the new spring strut with wax (Wax spray 000.043.300.58). On vehicles with PASM, make sure that no wax gets onto the inner contacts of the connector!
Carefully remove the spring compressor.
Slide the bellows up and clip it onto the supporting mount → Fitting bellows in spring strut at the top .
