Information
If the upper trailing arm is to be used again, mark its position with respect to the body -arrows- using a felt-tip pen for example (assembly aid).
- Production seams on the trailing arm can serve as the marking (useful when replacing the trailing arm).
- Apply a different marking on the body.
- Threaded joints can no longer be adjusted once the work is done as the threaded joints are no longer accessible.
- Loosen fastening screws -1- and remove the trailing arm. Fastening nuts -2- can be accessed from the plenum panel.
- If the trailing arm is replaced, the lock for the headlight levelling system sensor must be refitted on the new trailing arm.
- 2.1. To do this, remove expansion rivet -2- from the lock -1- and fit it on the new trailing arm in reverse order.
