Installing Trailer Hitch

NOTE:
  • The self-locking nuts and screws must always be replaced  .
NOTE:
  • Another person is needed for removing and installing the trailer hitch because of its weight  .
  1. Position trailer hitch, guide wire harness through the bodyshell, engage grommet and secure with fastening screws.
  2. Tighten trailer hitch to the specified tightening torque Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)  until secure.
  3. Tighten trailer hitch to the specified torque angle Torque angle 90°  until secure.
