Installing Lock Peg

NOTE:

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component .
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well .

Position lock peg and screw in the fastening screws. Locking clip - bend facing inside of vehicle.
Carefully close vehicle door and check that the lock peg is correctly positioned with respect to the lock.
Adjust the lock peg to suit the lock as required.
Tighten fastening screws to Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.) until secure.
Check adjustment of vehicle door and adjust it if necessary. → 585115 ADJUSTING REAR DOOR - SECTION ON "ADJUSTING"
