Installing rear left backrest

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

1. Guide rear left backrest -1-  into the mount on the body -2-  (-arrow A-  ).

2. Only for vehicles with heated seats:  Connect electric plug connection between the rear seat and backrest.
3. Guide rear left backrest -1-  into the center mount -3-  (-arrow B-  ).
4. Install supporting bow -1 -  (-arrows-  ) and secure it Tightening torque 12 Nm (9 ftlb.)  .
   NOTE:

   Always replace the fastening screws on the seat assembly after customer service and reworking.

   Micro-self-locking or self-tapping screws must not be modified, greased or loosened and then screwed in again.

5. Screw seat-belt buckle for middle seat to the body. Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) 

   Securing seat-belt buckle
