Installing Charge Air Cooler

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2016 Porsche Panamera, 2015 Porsche Panamera, 2014 Porsche Panamera, 2013 Porsche Panamera, and 2012 Porsche Panamera. Installation is performed in reverse order.

Guide charge-air cooler in sideways.
Screw in fastening screws on charge-air cooler.

Mounting point for charge-air cooler

Fit the two fastening screws -3 and 4- on the charge-air cooler at the lock carrier. > Tightening torque 6.5 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)

Fit fastening screws -6- between charge-air cooler and wing. > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Fit accessories on charge-air cooler.

Charge-air cooler connections

1	Charge-air coolers, left and right
3	Pressure hose, left
4	Pressure hose, right
5	Ambient air line
6	Ambient air line
8	Connection between charge-air cooler and ambient air line
10	Charge air line, left
11	Charge air line, right

Fit pressure hose -3 and 4- on the charge-air cooler at both sides.

Fit hose for ambient air valve -5 and 6- to the suction hose from the turbocharger at both sides.

Fit hose from ambient air valve -8- on the charge-air cooler at both sides.

Fit the air guide for the air cleaner housing at both sides.

3.4.1 Open the retaining clip on the front wire harness on the right side and secure the wire harness in the holder.
Lower the vehicle.

Fit charge air line -10 and 11- between the charge-air cooler and the air box for the throttle valve at the charge-air cooler on both sides.
